Caregiving is a journey filled with love, challenges, and dedication—but who is caring for the caregivers?

At Town Square University Parkway, we recognize the immense responsibility caregivers carry and the importance of self-care and respite. That’s why we are honored to partner with Easterseals Southwest Florida to offer our First Annual Caregivers Retreat—a unique opportunity for caregivers to recharge, connect, and focus on their own well-being.

This three-session therapeutic program is designed to provide support, stress relief, and emotional renewal through a guided experience with equine-assisted therapy at the Easterseals campus.

Program Benefits & Objectives

• Self-care and stress reduction – Learn mindfulness and breathing techniques to enhance self-regulation and resilience.
• Emotional awareness and support – Gain insight into your own emotional responses to caregiving challenges.
• Community and connection – Build relationships with other caregivers in a supportive and understanding environment.
• Healing and therapeutic experience – Experience the calming presence of horses to help reduce stress, promote well-being, and restore balance.

*** No prior horse experience is necessary. All activities are unmounted and designed for comfort, reflection, and personal growth.

• Day 2: April 24th Connection & Communication from 10 AM – Noon
• Day 3: May 1st Reflection & Integration from 10 AM – 1 PM Lunch Included
