At Town Square University Parkway, we are dedicated to fostering community, support, and engagement for seniors and their caregivers. With suicide rates among older adults on the rise, we recognize the urgent need for action. That’s why we’re launching a series of FREE senior support groups, educational events, and quarterly community gatherings to provide critical senior resources, caregiver support, and mental health outreach in Sarasota and Manatee County.

Our upcoming initiatives bring together local business partners, healthcare professionals, and experts in aging, dementia care, and mental health to ensure that no senior or caregiver feels alone. These adult day services and community programs provide a safe space for socialization, cognitive engagement, and essential mental health resources—all at no cost to the community.

Why This Crisis Affects the Entire Florida Community

With Florida having one of the largest senior populations in the U.S., this growing crisis places increased pressure on home caregivers, assisted living facilities, and adult day programs. Town Square University Parkway is finding ways to make a difference with local seniors.

Additionally, older adults play vital roles in their families and communities, whether as mentors, volunteers, or caretakers.
