FREE Health Expo and Resource Fair!
North Sarasota, Florida – Town Square University Parkway is excited to host this years second annual Health Expo on Saturday, November 9th from 10 AM to 3 PM. This event showcases over 75 vendors, educational presentations, live demonstrations, free vaccinations, free CEU classes and local food trucks. Partnering with 75 local organizations, Town Square is proud to bring these resources to the area.
Town Square University Parkway is a new adult day center that prides themselves on offering free resources to the surrounding senior community. Since opening, Town Square has provided weekly support groups, educational classes and give back events for the community monthly. This years Health Expo is a huge part of that, especially after the devastation our community has undergone following the last three hurricanes. It is imperative that we come together and help those in need, now!
What to expect at this year’s Health Expo
This upcoming Health Expo is a great opportunity for residents in the Manatee and Sarasota County to take advantage of free services, medical screenings, and education. Visit local vendor tables, receive free resources, enjoy the Top Chef Competition and discover local businesses.
Education is power. Find the tools you need to stay in front of the challenges that affect you, and this community the most. Presentations are offered by Dr. Darlene Lobel, Catherine McDermott APRN, Dr. Samuel Thomas, Dr. Jeffrey Cameron, Hensley Law, local Authors and industry-related professionals.
Our interactive dementia live experience will offer guests tools, education and a newfound empathy for the struggles facing seniors living with cognitive impairments. FREE vaccinations with Walgreens, enjoyable food demonstrations and tastings, and raffle drawings with keep guests engaged.

Town Square University Parkway is an adult day care center located off Lockwood Ridge and University in North Sarasota. Town Square offers specialized care for those with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, sight impairments, cancer, recovery and mobility issues. We are here to help loved ones’ age at home and provide respite for caregivers. Our unique program offers a 1950s and 60’s themed senior day center built to facilitate reminiscence therapy. Our goal is to promote independence through activities, engagement and socialization. Members have access to multiple activities, including 15 different storefronts to explore, within a safe & secure environment.
Unlike most other adult day programs, Town Square University Parkway also has a medical component. It offers primary care, lab services, and psychiatry, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy five days a week. Podiatry, dermatology, and audiology are available quarterly. These services, along with an on-site hair salon and barber, are aimed at making life easier for the members’ caregivers. The one-stop shop concept means the caregiver can work full-time, run errands or enjoy a deserved break during the day. Contact us today to learn more.
We are free for most Veterans and $17-$19 an hour for private pay individuals.
